       I don’t understand how we are solving our homeless problem by waking up homeless people at inhumane hours of the morning and throwing away their tent.They’re still homeless. Now they don’t have their temporary home either. And you don’t have shelter or beds.

       @skinnylatte that’s because to you, “homelessness problem” means that people don’t have homes. To those who support this policy, the “problem” is that the homeless people are visibly existing.

       @skinnylatte i saw one study which said 60% of homeless were victims of child abuse. Cities are only perpetuating the abuse and criminalizing their struggles.

       @Morgunin @skinnylatte Anybody who has #construction experience knows how cheap a small room with basic insulation, electricity, a toilet, a washbasin and a decent lock is. The problems are 0 interest in solving #homelessness + 1 billion regulations. I have seen projects like this work in Africa, but the West can't handle it? 🤯#solvehomelessness

       @madeindex @Morgunin @skinnylatte Ever since the enclosure acts and the first vagrancy laws it's been part of the system, it provides incentive to do a sh*tty job for one.There is little incentive to undermine the business of property developers with affordable energy efficient homes...Sorry if I sound cynical. Humans are often our own worst enemies despite all of our collective achievements :)
