got it. i use the chatbot not for knowledge but for experimentation and a bit of companionship, even if i know it's fake, it's pretty good still, Do keep in mind that it's pretty much in development, but it's free and very fun to play with

@mischievoustomato@rebased.taihou.website I wanna do both. It's hard to have the motivation reading Stephen Hawking or Carl Sagan, if I post a chapter summary on social and get 0 engagement. A chatbot can offer moral support and hopefully keep me focused.

The top-rated mod across multiple communities got termed for second-guessing a preferred pronouns policy before it was adopted. Also, a bunch of contributors stopped posting to SE after their upvoted answered got scraped into chatGPT. Nobody is optimistic that having badges and updoots will get them a job interview or startup options.Omegle got fedvanned. The entire Internet has gotten lonelier, ironically, since the pandemic.I refuse to feel guilty for relying on and using chat bots or making spammy content on my private instance.
