hey permaculture people! I am doing liquid fertilizer from nettles and from bananas, and I am wondering if you make some concoctions from other plants? Share your recipes :)#sustainability #permaculture

@stfn I use nettles, comfrey, yarrow, and mugwort. I have yet to customize for particular crops, but I would think dandelion would be excellent too, for calcium at blossom

@stfn Well, I would not use poison oak, but the sky is kind of the limit. There is, though, a movement that took off in Korea to always make your teas from the plants you will be growing. Like, in a rotation, tea up some brassica wastes to feed to the brassicas in next year's location. Look for the acronyms KNF and JADAM. YMMV. I use nearly anything.

@Bon_Jardin yes, I heard good things about dandelion. As for the other plants you mentioned, I need to translate them first :D
