       presumably "digital twin" is terminology only used because people are fearful of legal action re "avatar" because i can think of no other reason why such awful wordage would be deployed

       @nevali In engineering, a "digital twin" is a virtual representation of a physical plant, that can be used for monitoring its condition and predicting performance. "Avatar" wouldn't work at all for that.
