       @atrupar The death of #Chevron deference is overblown. Anybody who thinks that the administrative state was going to save our ecology has not been watching the EPA. Do you not know that the reason that air pollution and water pollution are as bad as they are in major metropolitan areas because the EPA has repeatedly interfered with local efforts to rein bad actors back using nuisance law?Administrative agencies like the DEA screw up their mission so thoroughly 1/2

       @realcaseyrollins @atrupar I will review this information, and take another sweep at the current status of frustrated local efforts to use the nuisance law to clean up petroleum production and refinery facilities. I think a current review of the battle to the death between fossil fuel interests and California legislators gives you some idea of how little the federal government has helped this process. That progress has happened, I don't doubt. That the EPA has been the vehicle, I question. 🙏
