@futurebird I have heard it as a right's "good adjective" for PoC, they're "well articulated", as if PoC can't usually read, speak in public and conduct themselves as productive members of society. They often only say "he/she is articulated", hadn't thought of the "articulated like a python" way and it'll look bad, but from now on I'll laugh in their face when I hear it, thinking of PoC slithering about, crushing fascists like twigs.@glennsills

When Republicans try to question the race of black candidates they are, in theory, speaking to black people trying to activate questions about authenticity and light skin privilege. They don't care about understand these concepts at all so it falls really flat and instead it just comes off as general racist disgust with "race mixing" and "miscegenation" ... which is the emotional reason they think such attacks will work at all.

@kingkaufman I do not know what he expected to happen at a black journalist's conference? He could have gone there to give up a little ground but he's incapable of saying things like "I think we are all tired of the racism and fighting over these issues. Harris isn't an DEI hire she's there because she is a left extremist like all democrats" or whatever etc...He could make a gesture to step away from this stuff ... in theory. And media would eat it up.

@futurebird Seen from the outside - and the inside - I have never seen anyone else (but me) talk about White Promotion.Catholic Irish, Italians, Poles, most of the eastern Europeans, none of these were considered White upon arrival in North America. They were promoted to White.

@tuban_muzuru There is also "demotion" which starts happening when they run out of people to persecute. Anyone who was ever on the outside can be on the outside again. A unique feature of The Black American Experience(TM) is knowing you will never ever be on the inside. We kind of define the outside in a way.

@futurebird I think instead of 'elite' we are getting 'whore' because she is a woman, and no woman can be as successful as a man without cheating somehow. So, whore.I am starting to wonder if the race mixing stuff isn't just a way to incense the choir. She can be a part of two minorities, and you get none. And your racism is right black people are stupid because they can't see this obvious trick. Clearly all the racism was really right all along.

@futurebird On the other side it might already be Alzheimer hitting heavily. He's a bit like old people in my family (only much more hatefilled): Always repeating the same old same old stories that where already terrible when they where young (the stories).
