i havent used opensus much, but zypper does seem smart/well developedthat said, i use nixos so i love nix, but its much more than just a pkg manager

@mischievoustomato @cine @arcana @snacks isn't it basically just a package manager? What else is different?Most distros are functionally equivalent but differ in the package manager used. I don't know enough about nix to know why it would be different.

it has a lot of QoL things like, being able to spawn an ephemeral shell with specified packages if youre gonna do a one off thing, not to mention dev shells and some other crazy stuff
