       @foone I actually do this lol, I have an HDMI adapter for mine and I run a Chromecast or Nintendo switch on it when I want to chill and don't care about quality.

       @foone A local pizza shop (closed down a month ago) kept their 80s vibe with ceiling mounted 14" CRTs. Was disturbing yet nostalgic to see them running live TV. Quite possibly had to use RF modulator given age of TVs

       @foone Mmmm, built-in Roku to do that forced motion smoothing because you need it when your refresh rate can't be anything but 60 fields per second.

       @foone Hmm. I wonder if any smart devices still have a halfway usable 480 line interface, or if they've all bitrotted away since 1080p became a basic TV.

       @foone but you need to tune in the service first. And sometimes youtube gets bad signal and you have to bang on the set to make it go again.
