I was organizing some old teaching files and found this goofy logo I made for my Linear Algebra class to try to cheer them up during the lockdown days. The art is from a US coin that was planned but never released because it was "too controversial" 🙄 (they didn't like the digital stuff and it was "too NYC")But I love the design with the circuit background in the background and NYC icon who looked like a lot of my students. I demand cyberpunk NYC themed money!

@futurebird That design is great!The 'digital stuff' reminds me of the 1997 UK £2 coin - designed by an art teacher and showing the outward progress of technology, including a printed circuit board and light reflecting down fibre optic cables. @futurebird I love it !I am witness to a great deal of uninformed guff about the Dreadful AI. I chase most of these demented Chicken Littles away by asking if they've taken linear algebra.If they haven't, I just stop listening.

@futurebird As a coin, what was that artwork intended to symbolise?Btw, I think the text would look better with the letters merely rotated rather than deformed. Stick to linear transformations. Points for using Helvetica rather than that monstrosity Arial, though.
