       @adamsandy Hmm, I hadn’t looked into it before. Just read https://getsol.us/2023/04/18/a-new-voyage/, which led me to https://serpentos.com (which I’ll definitely be trying as a desktop). I’ll keep it in mind but part of the reason I’m going with Alma Linux at the moment (and possibly looking to swich to CoreOS before launch) is because Hetzner supports it out of the box and I’m building a system where I don’t want to have convoluted workarounds for image installation as part of the default experience.

       @aral Never heard of those distro but they sound interesting. Is there a reason you prefer RPM distro over other family of based distro?

       @adamsandy I just like transactional updates and the ability to rollback. So, not so much the rpm bit but the ostree bit.
