       @killeveryhetero is the media on an S3 bucket or equivalent? (and is this on a paid hosting service? you may be getting billed for every API call. At least AWS will do this.)

       @feld yeah, it's on wasabii expect this to spike the bill this month, idk how badlybut our media bucket... has like 8 TERABYTES of posts on itthe media hosting bill has gone from $5/month when i started jorts to $60/month nowi gotta get it down to be able to afford jorts tbh

       @killeveryhetero let's pretend you only want to keep the last 6 months of media:might be a lot cheaper (and faster!) to switch to a new empty bucket and then run a script to copy all the <6 month old media into the new bucket
