       zoom makes a full stick mic with an internal recorder but everyone pans it in the reviews because the case is plastic

       @icedquinn Any idea if it makes the sound worse? I know nothing about audio (listen to it all the time though) but I am thinking that these mics could be designed specifically to be a bit farther away from the mouth,

       @loathesome_dongeater depends if the capsule has any shock absorption. that little slab model is meant to be clipped on to a shirt, but they do sell plastic handles you can slip them in to if you want to look slightly more professional.
