       I think part of the reason I rarely check Mastodon anymore is because it's largely fear and anger in my timeline. About a political candidate and public policies, evil billionaires, crummy AI, war, climate change, and so on.I put these in my timeline because they are important issues, but I think I ended up following people who post almost exclusively about these things, not things they love and want to see more of.I'll likely adjust who I'm following soon. I'm not giving up on fedi yet.

       @adam can't say as I blame you, especially with election circuses this year. Have filters and muting helped? I don't find them perfect but filtering keywords has made my feed better.
