Do I know any e-ink expert on this platform? (Meaning the e-ink technology, not the readers)I have a couple of questions.

@j_bertolotti Hey, I'm sadly not an e-ink expert, I just used it in a couple of projects. But I can try answering them :)

@picnoir Thanks!Let's try: my memories of how most e-ink works is likely outdated, but I seem to remember that once upon s time some was made with little sphere white on one side and black on the other, that were made to rotate with small magnetic fields. But when I looked again recently I could only find e-ink where small white particle were made to float up and down.(I am looking for a system where when you set it to "white" the scattering is always the same, not only the same on average)

@j_bertolotti I did not encounter any of those since IÂ started getting interested in e-ink screens circa 2016. I only used particle-based screens.Carta, spectra and all the recent-ish e-ink corp products are using particles.I did not find any single sphere per pixed product on the usual chinese marketplaces.Wild guess: partial refresh is not an option in such a setup. Could be the reason they've been replaced by this particle tech.I'm afraid I can't help you much. Please do ping me if you manage to find a supplier, I'd be interested in testing its contrast.
