       @futurebird I've learned to love house centipedes, but I had an unpleasant experience with them while living in a basement apartment in DC when I was younger. There were *so* many centipedes living there! Swarms of them. And they were huge.I never saw any other arthropods living there, but there must have been quite a supply to support that very healthy population. Perhaps there were cockroach swarms outside, and the centipedes lived in my apartment and commuted to work?
