       She's convinced the only thing keeping "other cats" and people from just filling up our apartment are her intimidating hourly patrols. When we close a door we are foolishly giving up valuable hunting and sleeping spots to other cats. When we are in a room without her we are being disloyal and petting and feeding other cats. Once I realized this is how she sees it her strange feelings about doors made more sense. Although they still don't make much sense.
