@HeavenlyPossum Texas has a 'stand your ground' law. Homeowners protecting their properties should trump eminent domain in the eyes of libertarians, right?

@HeavenlyPossum @cy This is Texas, right? Doesn't everyone and their dog carry a gun? A single shot in the right place is enough to damage a transformer. The problem is that this is a crime against a profitable tax-paying business, so you can expect the police to do the full forensics and investigation workup to catch whoever is responsible.

Yeah it was mentioned earlier there's this new crime they invented called "terrorism" which means financially impacting the rich. So that's where I'd get sent to be tortured in secret prisons for vandalism. Would recommend being very careful not to get caught. The USA has a long history of passing laws to protect everyone, then passing laws requiring people break the previous laws in order to defend certain big businesses. First, breaking the law to torture natives, then ex-slaves, then communists, and now "terrorists" i.e. literally anyone.
