Tech support needed…Cat walked on laptop earlier…. Now trackpad keeps randomly pressing / dragging things like trackpad is always depressed. All suggestions welcome. HELP!!!

@Ladyfat Probably stuff stuck between the keypad. Microfiber + cleaner. Get between the keys, edges. Also, turn laptop over and give it a good shake. Could be a toenail or cat hair.Turn cat over and give it a good shake too. Does nothing for the laptop, but it's the principle of the thing.

@Ladyfat a cat alone shouldnt be enough to break a trackpad. I would open it and get into it, but 1 apple and 2 i dont know if you feel comfortable doing it

@Ladyfat Do you have a can of compressed air? Maybe try to shoot the air to try to dislodge dirt if that is what is keeping the trackpad stuck.

@Ladyfat Also clean the trackpad with a bit of rubbing alcohol but make sure there isn't too much for it to seep inside the laptop.
