I'm making a realistic cave adventure, but realistic art is quite beyond me, so I've been doodling something like the Bayeux tapestry with stick figures.

@malin If you overlaid that onto a texture weave of paper, and toned it with sepia ink and then just varied the density of the ink that would flawlessly look like old manuscript warning of the dangers of a place. It's just exactly like you say, just the Bayeux Tapestry era, but that's perfectly fine. I mean the last frame wouldn't look out of place in the Grail Diary.

@Printdevil That sounds fun. Inkscape supports textures...sort of, maybe with an embedded image?
