       @mangeurdenuage @amoroso @cnes the cnes editor is on mastodon. Not on the fediverse. They read, and write, on the fediverse, from their mastodon instance.Svp arreter d'etre un pain in the ass and police the tone of people making the fediverse better. It's fucking annoying.

       @mangeurdenuage I get it, notice how I used the word fediverse in my previous post where I was referring to the whole fediverse.But the cnes editor mentioned in the meme *is* on mastodon. There's literally nothing wrong in that post. Nobody called the fediverse mastodon. You'll agree that is OK to call mastodon mastodon, right? In general, you're right. It's unfair to conflate mastodon with the fediverse. But pointing it out when nobody made a mistake makes the fediverse unwelcoming. Stop.
