       The kid is always mocking that I over-prepare to go out on holiday, in that I carry an extra camera battery and an SD card. I pulled out my camera today and realised the SD that was in it was in the laptop back at the holiday home. I said “well! I need my spare SD card!” Kid rolls his eyes. I insert it and get “SD invalid or damaged” on the screen. Kid spreads a “where is your god now prepper?” grin. I got to look him in the eyes while I said “well! I need to get my spare, spare SD card!” and retrieved it from the other pocket on my bag and fitted it.

       @NewtonMark having an acute understanding of what can go wrong in a situation and being prepared for it to a slightly unreasonable extent is why as a Basketball Dad I was able to produce instant chemical cold packs for three simultaneous rolled ankles in a U14 game.
