@volpeon@is-a.wyvern.rip quilt is a fork of fabric, after some stuff happened and ppl felt hurt.nowadays quilt is slowly getting irrelevant again. most fabric mods are quilt compatible, and the other way around.regarding performance mods: there are basically just a two you "really" need: lithium, sodium and indiumif you want some other mods (some of those replicate optifine), i can recommend: immediatlyfast, dashloader, moreculling, dynamicfps, iris, zoomify, modelgapfix, modernfix, debugify, entityculling, fabricskyboxes, ferritecore, fabricskyboxes interop, entity texture features, entity model fixtures, enhanced block entities, distant horizons, cursorcentered fixbut in the end, just the three first named mods are really "needed" (those three have unofficial forge ports as well, if you need that one)

@volpeon if ur using Modrinth, u can get a "Simply Optimised" modpack (For Fabric Mod Loader)Download that and use those mods on whatever mods u wanna use - it just makes ur game run 1000x smoother
