akkoma sucks, install mainline Pleroma but if you're dead set on akkoma, use Verita's Docker install of it https://git.poster.place/verita84/akkoma

Soapbox UI or the Rebased backend? Did Alex stop developing? He's not great on releases ... huh, so Rebased hasn't gotten a commit in ~4 months, but he still appears to be maintaining the frontend (although 3.2 was the least release of it).
