@Wormwood Sometimes "stray" cats actually have an owner but since they're free to wander around the neighborhood they may have several people giving snacks and safe places to rest.

@BitterPill @Wormwood This ginger boy at our last place would chill in our yard and take food from us.Then we found out he has an official owner down the street and another guy further down the street where he also gets food and hangs out.We stole his gf. Hope he didn't miss her too much.He has no chip. He is not neutered. He had been seen in our yard at 3am on very cold nights.
