@selea my own mail servers. But I need to admit that it has taken a lot of effort and time to be accepted my the major mail companies :S

@selea I'm using AWS SES. Haven't had any problems with it, but I'm also only sending something like a few dozen emails a month. It seems to be the cheapest option by a wide margin

@tursiops nice to hear,I am around that number of emails to each day, so it would be nice with options. I dont know how long my current provider can manage to be a sender thou :(

@seleaA local provider here in germany: Netcup. I have actually two servers there, one for management stuff like Nextcloud, postfix, openvpn and the other is a Minecraft server. 😅

@selea We run our own instance of PostalServer for the transactional email needs of Mastodon.It's been great but maintenance can be a real pain. Luckily we've got a great team and some top notch main system admins.We also host for several other orgs as a courtesy and have been thinking about expanding that service.If anyone is interested and needs transactional email hosting please reach out.
