*puts on work toot hat*If someone without 5 years experience with Azure asks what to use to copy files to or from it and you say Azcopy I will fight you. Azcopy requires two degrees and one of them has to be in advanced computer science and the other has to be in Klingon. If you type azcopy.exe -h it outputs the Voynich manuscript. I want to get its source code and change it to KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

@compuguy s3 is a bucket with an access policy and you can do stuff and that's grand. Azure storage is four different storage services in a trench coat, protected by one or more of four or five different authentication schemes, in any of three directions, with a different syntax for each.

@compuguy it's a Swiss army knife but all the tools are a chainsaw, mandoline, spinning razor etc.

@compuguy Microsoft released Azure Storage Explorer which is effectively a GUI/File Manager front for it which is great, but people are like "I'm good at computer" and try to raw dog Azcopy.exe

@geordie Agreed. Sometimes you need a good cli tool, especially if you're doing any type of CI/CD and you need to move artifacts off object storage.
