Cretaceous is full of sunny days, herds of chonky beasts in the open. Mostly.- Mostly? Sounds like there's a catch to this set-up. Like bad rain?        @WilliamBabey Long story short: we have no nasal bones from any megalosaurid, but crests are pretty common in early averostran theropods. It's very possible - maybe even predicted - that megalosaurines had some sort of crest. (This isn't my observation, BTW, it comes from Andrea Cau).
