Quoting this post cause I'm being serious about this. There are places that block piracy sites and other assorted services through their firewall. Universities mostly, but there are others. I don't wanna be cucked and find a way to bypass that shit. tagging @nep @Pawzy @rach because you people are the most technical I know.I've covered tor bridges for myself and know that I can get them from the tor project site, the telegram or use the in built ones. I'd still like some advice on which ones you'd personally recommend. Also thinking of using whonix, I wanna know how secure and convenient it is. Gonna have to run it windows though. If you have any tips and advice I would appreciate it.Thank you people :AstolfoLove:

@plusboy @Pawzy @nep You could try this. It's made for the great firewall. Or just use a free vpn. https://shadowsocks.org/doc/getting-started.html

@rach@eepy.express @plusboy@eepy.express @Pawzy@imouto.pics @nep@cannibal.cafe there's also yggdrasil mesh for those extra bad situations that require multiple layers of bypass

@plusboy@eepy.express for internet proxy you'll need something like ssh tunnel to do the actual proxy, yggdrasil is just the substrate for bypass

@plusboy@eepy.express basically as long as both you and your endpoint are connected to the same yggdrasil mesh you'll be able to send ipv6 packets between them, the easiest way is to have a VPS on a unblocked ISP that you'd ssh tunnel via yggdrasil. for restrictive firewalls i have public peers on common ports like tls 993

@jeff okay that makes sense. I'll look further into it. One last question: is it like tor where you can access clearnet sites that don't have onion domains? or do sites have to be on the yggdrasil network?Apologies, I'm not too much of a technical person so some of this went over my head

@plusboy@eepy.express it gives participants a static ipv6 address that is routable to only other people using yggdrasil
