"Grundrisse," written 1857-1858, is Karl Marx's foundational manuscript before "Das Kapital," analyzing economic categories like capital, labor, commodities, and money in capitalist production. In this book, Marx develops theories of historical and dialectical materialism, showing how economic forces shape society and revealing contradictions in capitalist accumulation, profoundly influencing Marxist thought and economic theory.https://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1857/grundrisse/
