Wife was pregnant with our 4th boy in a row. That’s a 12% probability. Miscarriage at 14 weeks is less than 1%. No heartbeat at the doctor visit today. Foreclosure, eviction, bankruptcy, relocate to live on raw land that is 7 miles from the nearest maintained road, in a 36’ RV, hauling water, running solar during the day, generator at night, hauling sewage every 2 weeks. And now a statistically improbable pregnancy with miscarriage. It’s been a rough 12 months! If hard times make strong people, my Wife and boys are ready for the crash.

@Jonaschuzzlewit I’m Ok. Worst part for me is thinking about little dude existing and then just going alone. She’s pretty broken up, justifiably.

@brittbratt_fingerpuppet Thanks. We were hit with an insane stomach flu with terrible body aches around the first of the month that lasted about a week. Worst sickness I’ve ever had. It has to be the reason.

@Dan_Hulson Thanks man. One knows these situations exist out there, but I never realized how it can actually affect the dad as much as it has. It didn’t when I first found out, until I started thinking about the little guy just slipping away on his own, unknown to anyone. They say it happened about a week ago.
