This is frustrating: 'The [Southern Poverty Law Center] Union announced that the SPLC will be laying off a quarter of its staff, including its entire immigrants rights team, despite the organization having a billion dollars in reserves and an F rating from Charity Watch for “hoarding” donations. The union is accusing the SPLC of strategically timing the layoffs less than a year before they begin bargaining for a second contract to intimidate the workers'

@feld That ProPublica article does not mention SPLC, seems to be about the 527-type orgs that are fleecing people.

@jimv correct, but so many do it (not just 527s). They hoard the donations and pay most of it out to their execs.
