@jan Finally got Waydroid running on my machine! Only took a different kernel, nuking my Nvidia GPU from orbit, and making sure I was running the right session.

@jforseth210 @jan Is Nvidia still a pain to work with Wayland?

@waltercool @jan Well, I'm not sure how many of my computer problems are Nvidia's fault, but I know that Waydroid doesn't work with it. Some sleep/wake issues, but generally, things work pretty good.

@waltercool @jforseth210 I personally use it with kde (fedora), and I've seen very little issues with it.

@jan @jforseth210 Oh, just reading about that, seems like Nvidia decided to incorporate GBM into their drivers. The EGLStreams idea was good in theory, but chaotic in practice (every vendor doing things differently). Are you using Nouveau, Nvidia Drivers (closedsource) or Nvidia OpenGPU (opensource)?

@waltercool the closed source ones, it's an rtx4090, which iirc is not supported yet.
