       @MostlyHarmless I remember going to the grocery store as a kid and my family was doing a mega grocery run for a storm coming in. We got 2 shopping carts piled over the top plus the bottom racks full. The total? $350. I remember thinking "holy cow that's a lot of money on groceries." Hahahahaha.

       @sortius @Hawk1291 @MostlyHarmless yeah, we eat exactly one takeout meal per week, so there's that to consider.  I also have the privilege of shopping at Not Walmart® which means I'm paying a premium for not shopping at Walmart.

       @prettygood @Hawk1291 @MostlyHarmless I'm in Australia, so it's a bit different here.I was half joking about the cost. I spend maybe $200/week on food by shopping at markets, Aldi, and local grocers. Otherwise it would be $350/week 😖

       @sortius @Hawk1291 @MostlyHarmless Eastern Kentucky here.  Most things are at a slight premium because road transport is expensive (long way from major roadways).  I should mention my grocery bill includes my booze budget so that's noteworthy as well lol.
