@Siucraym I used FreeBSD off and on throughout the years. It's a good system and I like the old-school UNIX feel, but inevitably I grew tired of problems with certain ports crashing randomly, or certain ports breaking that are vital to my work. So I went back to Lubuntu LTS and have stayed there ever since.

@gnarley_boot Hi. GNU/Linux will always remain my #1 OS. I have only ever tried #FreeBSD in a VM and it was no way near as smooth an experience as #Linux. Still, at least it's another FOSS OS. ๐ :debian:

@Siucraym The BSD's are fun for more utilitarian approaches like a raw coding environment or testing something. One thing I will say though is OpenBSD has a very nice, minimalist sound driver that is low latency. The only problem is lack of audio software (although it's built in audio recorder, aucat, is phenomenol, I think there's a dude doing a podcast with out there using it.)
