       My 18 year old cat likes to curl up, knead me like a kitten. But she does not like to be observed doing this, she waits until I'm asleep. This is when I dream about something soft & humming & a little prickly burrowing into me. "I suppose this is my fate" I think in the dream. And I'm happy that being excavated isn't as unpleasant as I thought it would be. But, then later there is silky fur under my half-awake hand: in a haze I see a cat stop & pretend to be cleaning her paw.

       @futurebird i have a cat who gets embarrassed at being perceived while doing kitten things too! it's so cute. she thinks licking herself randomly is great cover when she is spotted in the act of kittening. works so well! all humans totally think she is a Mature Distinguished Gentlelady who is simply fastidious with grooming.

       @futurebird Better than my 3 year old orange brat. He likes to lick my forehead, chew my eyebrows, rummage through things...all at 2 in the morning in order to get me to feed him.
