@Cwiiis I grew up on Usenet, and have spent 25 years of my life on public forums; I also don’t have a pathological need of people “liking me”, and I don’t derive any sense of self-worth from the approval or disapproval of people I don’t know…That, of course, doesn’t prevent me from thinking a bunch of these people should discover how chemical fires work directly up close, but other than that, I stopped caring long ago. It’s the cost of doing open source software
