       @Flick One of our big grocery chains overbought Ahi (yellowfin) tuna, it's usually about $60/kg  I got it for a third of that a truly outrageous price - it is normally used for sushi sashimi it's THAT good .  We ate a bit as sashimi dipped in sesame soya for an appetizer,  cat loved it to bits as well!  A real treat.

       @kj00 @Flick fruited slaws are common in  Asian cooking, mango and papaya would be used there, but this is Canada and peach and strawberry are in season right now.   My youngest son was a cook at numerous restaurants and in the cuisine test kitchen at our chef training university.   He made the tuna and the vinagrette
