       That's unusual for a pride flag. Usually the stripes indicate something like an emotion or a concept. For example, yellow and purple are also used in the intersex pride flag and have special meanings there.Anyway, the white stripe on the gender nonbinary flag is for white onions.

       Now the third color really trips people up because, yes, it's purple, but it's actually representing something called red.Yes, that's right, the purple stripe in the gender nonbinary flag is for red onions. There's no such thing as purple onions, silly.

       Last but not least, there is the black stripe that's at the bottom of the flag. By now people usually "grok" what the flag represents and assume that they know what the black stripe means.
