Problem was never child labor anyway. The problem was, and is, worker exploitation. Criminalizing the ability of poor kids to participate in society, on the argument that inhumane cruelty is only a good thing to do to adults is stupid. I personally don't have an opinion on media studies, other than memes are pretty rad
