When I bought this titanium teapot as a gift to myself for finding a new job years ago I really felt bad about how much it cost— but I’ve decided it’s, in a way the ideal sort of expensive treat: absurdly durable, timeless, utilitarian, strange. This one is going in my will. I hope someone takes it with them to space someday. (that is my new heirloom benchmark: how likely is this to be in the 1 ton allowance for those moving to the dyson swarm never to set foot on earth again?)

@futurebird Oh, that's gorgeous. Where'd you get it? If they have a 2L model I'd probably invest in one, our ceramic teapot is very heavy and I'm always worried about the handle breaking.
