The only cyborg I've seen get it right is Inspector Gadget.Because I can probably name ten people right now who would go for the "motorized screwdriver in the finger" surgery, yet it so rarely shows up in fiction.But that's the transhumanist future I'm waiting for

@foone NGL, I was a lot more excited about the motorized screwdriver in the finger until I got into robotics enough to learn (a) how hot electric drills get and (b) how often those bits break. 😉

@foone The most attainable body modification in this vein is to install a small magnet in the fingertip - at least one can pick up screws with one finger.

@foone @astraluma Would you have different sizes on each finger? Maybe Phillips and straight on different hands? What about hex/multipoint/security? If only one finger, where would the extra tips be stored? Also also?? How would you power the motor? Some form of NA+/K cellular sink? Into a storage medium?
