       The fate and future of a former president is in the hands of 12 regular citizens and really whatever they decide (which I only hope they do earnestly and with a focus on the law, as if this was just some guy) that's a lovely thing isn't it?I hope it happens again and again and again!

       @vivtek If they acquit him... (which seems unlikely for every single charge come on. ) can it be a "rigged system" anymore?Takes a lot of wind out of that crying and moaning. That's the "worst case" if you view this as a political thing. Though I view it as a "is the law broken or not thing?" a "can we have laws for powerful people or NAH thing?"

       @futurebird Again and again with a side-show of a kangaroo type setup in what superficially seem like a legit court. Usually, we bring in criminals who deserve to have their cases heard. Not a Presidential candidate who clearly we can see has done nothing more than a misdemeanor. The argument that it is just a regular guy sitting there holds little water and is more of an excuse to "get" somebody....well that's lliberal NYC for you.
