Biden seems determined to lose this election. Maybe some of you should express your anger at him for doing so. Why is he trying to so hard to get Trump elected? Doesn’t he understand how terrible things will be under Trump? That democracy itself is at stake? Is helping Israel commit genocide so important to him that he’ll sacrifice US democracy for it?#Biden #JoeBiden #genocideJoe #USPol #UnitedStates #USA #Israel #Palestine #settlerColonialism #apartheid #zionism #ethnicCleansing #genocide

@aral All else being equal, he’d prefer to win, but it’s more important to him to uphold white supremacist oligarchy, even if subconsciously. If he loses “valiantly”—to Republican fascism & to climate doom—well, that’s the voters’ fault, not his. At no point will he countenance winning with multiracial/ethnic, socialist justice, even if that’s what it would take to win.

@aral Think of all the sweet fundraising Democrats can look forward to under GOP dictatorship.

@aral We need expensive consultants to explain why Biden governs against his interests.

@aral — What fascinates me more is the fact that the DNC has taken every opportunity to squelch Biden’s primary challengers. It would clearly rather have a Trump regime starting next year and continuing indefinitely, with all the consequences, than put a Dem in the White House while losing neoliberal control over its own party.

@aral he's tired and wants to go home, but no one else actually wants the job as being one of the most hated people in the world

@aral You see, expressing anger at Biden will get you called a Putin-loving Trump-supporter by dyed-in-the-wool Dems (who, supposedly, are the smart ones), and accused of not caring about women, POC, etc. Any criticism of Great Leader Biden is defacto support for the Repubs, so far as these geniuses are concerned. The belief among liberals in this country for a long time has been that the Dems cannot fail, they can only be failed. It's not Biden, it's those darned voters fault!

@SeumanOtwal Indeed. Neoliberals will choose fascism over anything even remotely socialist in nature any day of the week. Because under fascism they know (or hope, at least) that they’ll keep their privilege.

@aral Well, the dems expected more from Kamala. She didn’t deliver. She is unelectable and Joe has to stay on because any other candidate won’t be allowed to leap frog her. Bad situation.

@aral Trump and the resurgence of fashism is a godsent to the Democratic Party, because of what it lets them get away with.political parties are marketing agencies for state power, and if the alternative is that horrible, you can sell atrocities and slap a big "the others are much worse" sticker on it.they even pay the propaganda for especially nutty Republicans sometimes.a race to the bottom, and the winner is the state.
