       @CatDad Hi Jeff, Proton currently uses AI in Proton Sentinel to help protect against account takeovers. This is available for subscribers and off by default. Please note that this is not generative AI like ChatGPT, but rather a more traditional machine learning approach, used to prevent email abuse.Any future applications will depend on community interest and demand.

       @protonprivacy The instant any generative AI gets added I'm dropping my subscription and migrating, if that helps with questions of interest and demand.I would also think that a company valuing privacy would not do some things regardless of interest or demand, but I guess capitalism in the end will ruin everything.

       @protonprivacy @CatDad I don't see any possible implementation that would satisfy privacy and "fair sourced" data that the model has been trained on. If it's an additional and purely optional service I personally wouldn't cancel my subscription, but I would for sure question it

       @protonprivacy Nice journey, though sooner or later, privacy goes out the window. The fact you interact with a device that sends information throughout the world is inconsistent with privacy. Privacy as we understand it today will one day disappear. Cave people had no privacy. That was the beginning of humanity.
