       I'm confident that communism requires the complete abolition of the state and an immediate transition from capitalism to communism. If this fails and a transition state is necessary, I'll admit my error and support it. However, preaching libertarian communism is still crucial to introduce the idea of state abolition. This way, people will be prepared to abolish the state when the time comes.

       @Radical_EgoCom only caveat is historically transitional states repress “left” communism once in power. The trick will be how to prevent that.

       @fedwards9965 Off the top of my head, one potential solution would be to make sure that all, or at least as many as possible, people with authority be completely in support of inevitable state abolition and left communism in general. Of course, I would rather just abolish the state altogether.

       @Radical_EgoCom It’s a lot to trust with power. Personally, I’m against “leaders”… even if transitional I’d much rather put my faith in a council… but they can be corrupted almost as easily.Free and open media, without editorializing, for the populace would be essential.And mandates and restrictions for any military and police that they are of, for and answerable to the people, not power or capital. When people rise they are to stand with them not against.

       @Radical_EgoCom I don't think the transition to communism can be instantaneous but I also don't believe the period of transition would be anything remotely like what people call a "transitional state"

       @Radical_EgoCom I figure the most likely scenario is people manage to set up mutual aid based infrastructure either without involving the state or despite the state's efforts to repress it, but it takes a while after that for the state to actually become irrelevant.
