       @ZachWeinersmith The excerpt notes they dined together that evening, but completely fails to mention how Hildebrandt felt once the drugs had worn off. I assume less able to walk than he had before the 'experiment'.

       @ZachWeinersmith reminds me a lot of when I got stitches in my hand as a kid for which they numbed it.  Spent the entire evening banging it on stuff because it was such a weird sensation: not feeling.  The fact that it's adult scientists just cracks me up.
