@wonkothesane Hi Michael, it's important for us to use a mix of mainstream and decentralized channels so that we're not talking into an echo chamber and can reach those just starting their privacy journey.It doesn't look like Signal offers unlimited broadcast channels yet, but we'll keep an eye out for any changes!

Again @protonprivacy does it better: in this case meeting the audience - including their customers - where they are, rather than choosing the one (often dubious) place and expecting the audience to come to them no matter the cost.

@protonprivacy @wonkothesane That's right. Signal is good as a privacy focused private messenger. Not so much as a public outreach tool.If you want to educate the public about privacy you're going to have to go out to those shady non private networks where the target audience dwells.
