I've seen a lot of people rightfully discussing the privacy implications of Windows Recall but not as many mention that this "feature" is going to lead to people unintentionally breaking NDAs when their Recall data gets leaked from a malware.

@BrodieOnLinux@linuxrocks.online the legal implications for an end user of their computer's OS's integrated archiving screenrecorder's getting hacked should not be any different from the legal implications of having had someone unknowingly install back0rifice on their machine no?

@BrodieOnLinux if a malware can access your recall data it can probably also record your screen. The only difference is that it doesn't need as much time to collect data

@BrodieOnLinux i would safely assume that the median consumer would enjoy this anti-privacy consumer product. it is advertised as helping you remember where your files are, where you placed that report you need to hand in. the target audience is Windows users who will accept high levels of crap because it's all user friendly. Plus it has AI and it's all the rage.

@BrodieOnLinux Also... Microsoft literally stole this feature from another company (that other company goes farther by recording the microphone and letting you search through what was said near it), but people just think that Microsoft created that xD
