@stfn Bought my hubs a nice Seiko dive watch for our 2nd anniversary, 38 years ago.He still wears it, has it serviced once in a while, runs great. Meanwhile I've been through ten fitbits since they started in 2007. Yeah. I mean he does have seven other watches too, but -- they all still work.

@stfn I use a casio w-800h, modified (very easy to do) to add a countdown timer. I wanted a countdown timer but the models with it were all more expensive and more ugly (imo). cheap and easily replaceable enough to wear daily without worrying about it 😁https://ianrrees.github.io/2019/09/13/casio-w-800h-extras.html
