       @nullkitty yes, this instance federates with threads.  I did a write-up on this awhile back.If you'd like to stick around and avoid threads, I'd recommend that you set your profile to require approvals for follow requests, adjust your posting privacy appropriately, and set an instance mute on the Mutes & Blocks settings page.  If you happen to go somewhere else, I'd still recommend the first two if there's any reason you're avoiding any site.
